Deuces Wild Video Poker Strategy

Almost all casinos offer Deuces Wild video poker. It is played as the traditional video poker with the exception that the Deuces (2er cards) are wild, which means that they can replace an arbitrary other card (like a Joker), to help the player to a better card combination.
They can be used for example to amend a Straight or Flush, or to improve 3 of a Kind to 4 Of A Kind. What makes Deuces Wild even more interesting and especially more exciting, is that there are two very high payouts, namely 4 Deuces and Natural Royal Flush.

The strategy:
It is about getting 3 similiar or rather even better cards. After you placed your bet with the option "Bet Max", you have a look at the following schedule to find out, which cards you should keep. Thus, if you´re not getting 2er, you´re looking under "0 Deuces", one 2er under1 Deuce" etc.
0 Deuces
- 4,5 to a Royal Flush
- A winning guaranteed hand
- 4 to a Straight Flush
- 3 to a Royal Flush
- One pair
- 4 to a Flush
- 4 to a outer Straight
- 3 to a Straight Flush
- 4 to a inner Straight, but not with missing Deuce
- 2 to a Royal Flush, with J or Q as highest card
1 Deuce
- Direct 4 of a Kind or higher
- 4 to a Royal Flush
- Full House
- 4 to a Straight Flush with 3 sequenced cards, 5-7 or higher
- 3 Of A Kind, Straight or Flush
- All other 4 to a Straight Flush
- 3 to a Royal Flush
- 3 to a Straight Flush with 2 sequenced cards, 6-7 or higher
- Only Deuce
2 Deuces
- Direct 4 of a Kind or higher
- 4 to a Royal Flush
- 4 to a Straight Flush with 2 sequenced cards, 6-7 or higher
- Only 2 Deuces
3 Deuces
- Direct Royal Flush
- Only 3 Deuces
4 Deuces
- 4 Deuces
Terminology:
Outer Straight: A Straight that can be completed on both ends, as for example the card combination 7,8, 9, 10.
Inner Straight: A Straight that lacks a card within, like the card combination 6,7,9,10. The two card combinations A,2,3,4 and J, Q,K,A are also inner Straights, because they can only be completed with a 5 or a 10.
Every hand that is not listed above should not be played. Please pay attention to the following with two pairs; holding only one pair has a higher expected value.
